Creating a Lively Arts Scene in Readsboro

Each year, Readsboro Arts brings regional artists, craftspeople and musicians to our community—and we celebrate the outstanding talent of the many artists who live and work here.

Annual Readsboro Arts Festival

Held in mid-September at the Readsboro Central School, the festival features the work of artists and craftspeople from southern Vermont, and includes performances by local musicians and free art-making activities for visitors of all ages.

Live Music at the Bullock Building

Readsboro Arts is proud to present live concerts by regional favorites at the historic E.J. Bullock Building at 7012 Main Street in Readsboro, Vermont.

In 2014, Readsboro audiences enjoyed “A Night of Jazz” with the Jeanine Marie Quartet from Albany, NY; and a lively folk-rock concert by the Brooklyn-based group, “Greg Smith and the Broken English.”

Statewide Open Studio Weekends

Held twice a year, in the spring and fall, Open Studio Weekends are statewide celebrations of the visual arts and creative process, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to meet a wide variety of artists and craftspeople in their studios. Open Studio Weekends are presented by the Vermont Crafts Council and supported by the Vermont Arts Council and the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing.
