Readsboro Arts is pleased to announce the opening of Confluence, an art gallery in the historic EJ Bullock Building on Main Street, Readsboro. Confluence will show the work of a variety of local and regional artists.
Over the course of the upcoming spring and summer season, Confluence will mount four distinct shows. The first show, Landscape Photography by Regional Women Photographers, will open on May 6th with a reception for the artists from 5-7 PM. There will be a short ribbon cutting ceremony for the gallery immediately before the reception.
Readsboro Arts is grateful to Readsboro Hometown Redevelopment, the owners of the historic EJ Bullock Building, for working with us to create a space for art in Readsboro.
The gallery name Confluence is a reference to a coming together of groups of people, and is also a reference to the meeting in Readsboro of two branches of the Deerfield River.
The gallery will be open to the public on weekends and by appointment. All the work shown in Confluence is for sale, and a portion of each sale will benefit Readsboro Arts. Additional information about the upcoming shows will be posted on this web site approximately 2 weeks before each show.
